1990
The product cycle
Product range expanding to include bicycle parts and accessories, which included such brands as Boss Racing Products, Kool Stop, Jive and Specialized.

1991
Bottle Printing
The birth of an idea with the purchase of our first semi automatic printing machine and the beginning of printing in house on imported bicycle bottles from the USA.

1992
First of it's kind
Tooling was developed to produce the first bicycle specific drink bottle in Australia.

Clip on closure
The purchase of our second semi automatic printing machine and the development for an Australian made clip on closure.

1997
Evolution
The late nineties saw the change of company direction and with it, a name and logo change. Bottles of Australia was born focusing on only the rapidly expanding sports drink bottle market, and with previous equipment investment, BoA took advantage of it.

2000
Olympic Class
Sydney Olympics involvement and the biggest investment in the company’s history to date with the purchase of a fully automatic two-colour bottle printer, with only eight of its type in the world and the first in Australia BoA was able to increase capacity by 300%.

Earthtrail launch
The launch of the Earthtrail outdoor range and brand of alloy bottles.

Carrying on
The V8 Bottle Carrier was developed and made here in Australia, taking a fresh look on how teams use and need to carry water for the their players. Along with the development of the 650ml Bubbles bottle saw a great improvement in the product range to BoA customers.

The release of the new Rapture Range of bottles that replaced the Original and Junior BoA ranges.

Innovation
Final Development of the Stealth 600ml bottle and Guardian 800ml bottle. Working with the Australian National University in the development of an International Business Plan Competition — Bottles of Australia received runner up overall.

New products are launched: The Guardian 800ml bottle and the Stealth 600ml bottle. Developing strategy with the Canberra Business Council Trade Mission to move into the South Korean market.

New owners
New owners take on Bottles of Australia with fresh eyes and a great deal of enthusiasm. Blow moulding machine purchased to mould all bottles in house and to continue the important mission of Australian made.

Digital printing machine purchased
As the owners of Australia’s first digital printing machine we open the customer experience to a more detailed, precise, and superior level of decorative artwork. Promotional, personal, or packaging. We can now print nearly anything on drinkware.

Covid-19
COVID hits and the demand for Australian Made goods and manufacturing really takes off. Bottles of Australia becomes available to custom mould and custom print any packaging or sports drink bottles our customers require.

This is the start of our manufacturing process. Researching the best raw materials that offer you the safest possible plastic drink container on the market. Our BoA bottles either meet or exceed food standards from around the world. The USA, New Zealand, Australian, Japanese and EU food standards just to name a few have put our products to the test, and we have met the challenge with our heads held high.

What’s the difference?
Digital vs Screen Printing
Digital Printing
Full colour digital printing is the new age of printing whereby you can print as many colours and patterns as you desire for a more complex and advanced printing outcome for example a photo of someone’s face can be printed digitally.
Screenprinting
Silk screen printing (spot colours) is a process of one colour per silk screen, printed one colour at a time. This is a great option for instances where only minimal colours are required.

Packaging to your needs

We can barcode your bottles by either printing directly on to the bottle or print and apply the barcode for each bottle.

Design and Redraw Services
A design and redraw service is available when artwork can’t be supplied in the proper format for printing. Artwork can be redrawn for correct reproduction if required. Quotes are available before commencing design.

BOA’s digital cylinder printer can print superior quality full-colour (CMYKWW + varnish) images on straight walled and tapered cylinders. Fast and flexible, our digital printing is ideal for use in the drink ware, bar ware, candle, and industrial printing industries.
